The Township of Alberton met all requirements of the Essential Level of emergency preparedness and response required by the December 31, 2004 deadline as prescribed by the Emergency Management Act, and has maintained compliance every year since then.
Alberton's Emergency Plan is based on the model provided by Emergency Management Ontario. Since emergency management is an ongoing and evolving process, the Township is committed to updating and improving its response plan, and to tailoring it to this community.
